My Life from ordinary student to Blogger

Hello! my name is Lokesh Prasai. I am from Birtamode 1 Ramchowk jhapa Nepal. I am student of Shree Mohan maya Sec School and access alumnus from Jhapa Access. In this blog i am going to describe how I became a blogger from a ordinary student.

I was born on 25 magh  2059 at Thechambu 4 Taplejung mechi Nepal in a middle class family. My family was not poor but not too rich. I started my first school from the age of 4 in the government school named Nawajyoti and that was the school in which I first learned to read and write. Chabilal Adhikari was my first teacher who taught me to write a, b, c, d,. . . . . and क, ख, ग, घ, . . . . by holding my hand. At the same age i fell down from the first floor relling (i.e 13-14ft tall) to the groung and I was seriously injured and and my parents were bringing me to the Phidim Hospital and we were stopped in hiwa khola by maoist people due to strike but however we reached to phidim hospital and it refered me to birat nursing home and somehow I was fully recovered. Time was passing and we migrated to Dharampur Jhapa from my birth palce on 2065 bs. migration affected my education very badly. Due to our family problem we have to migrate from Dharampur to Sanischare and to Birtamode. My education goes like this:-

2076 Shree Mohanmaya Sec School Ten(SEE) Stopped due to Covid-19

Till grade 7 I read in Private School and from grade 8 I came to Mohanmaya Sec school by knowing that certificate of government school is given top most priority in every kind of job and while going foreign country for further study. My study was going well and same year English Access Microscholarship Program Nepal and NELTA came in our school to give scholarship to poor students and intelligent students. And our school sent 15 students including intelligent and from poor background. And unfortunately me and 3 of my friends were provided scholarship. The scholarship was for only 40 Students from whole Jhapa and we students from five school (Devi, Durga, Mahendra, Maharanigunj, and Mohanmaya) were selected. This Program was for two years. We were named Jhapa Access to our group of 40 students. we were divided into two groups 20 students of each group 10 boys and 10 girls in one group. It was my great opportunity to learn new and interesting things. In Access we learned different things, different cultures, different skills, different modern and traditional technologies, food recpie, learning by doing etc. during that two year of time my great achivement was Blogging. Access taught me blogging and i was interested in doing online work too so I learned blogging very curiously and now I am updating my blog timely because of study pressure of my school study. And I hope You all Like my Blog.
Thank You!

Failure

Unbelievable Event of my life

There are different kind of events that we have to face in our life. One of the unbelievable event of my life is FAILURE. failure is not a person it is an event that everyone have to face it once in their life by knowingly or unknowingly. I was failed in half yearly exam of grade 9. That was the first failure of my life. I was shocked when I heard I was failed in one subject and that subject was OPT math. Not only me many of my friends also were failed that exam because 40% of question were not taught to us. But the main reason of my failure was that I had not understand what sir had taught us because sir just used to come in our class and teach “Question no 1)a” and ask us to do all other problem as homework and another day he start new problem and if we ask to teach that before’s problem then he used to say that copy from yours friend notebook. So that was my unbelievable event I have faced in my life till now. And I have not expected other such event that I should face in my life.

Way of report writing

Report should be written that we saw or visit. Only three things should be written in report
i.             Fact
ii.            Feeling
iii.          Feedback

On the same basis I have written a report of our visit to pathibhara temple(taplejung)
1.        Objectives of the Visit
The Educational Excursion that we carried out in a religious historical site aimed at the following objectives:
v To collect the information about the physical condition of the temple and its surrounding,
v   To find out the environmental condition of the entire temple.
v To collect the information about the initiatives and efforts taken for the       conservation and promotion of the temple.
v To worship

2.        Activities carried out at the spot
To meet the above-mentioned objectives, following activities were performed at the spot:
                                     i. Questionnaire/ Interview
Questionnaire/ Interview were the effective tool that we applied at the spot to succeed our visit. To collect the required information to meet the scheduled objectives, we asked questions the persons those whom we met there. Mostly, priest, local people, vendors, security personnel and visitors were the source persons for us.
                        ii. Observation
During the visit, we observed the temple, statues, its surrounding, physical environment, plantation, waste management, toilets, source of drinking water etc.
                        iii. Consulting the old Data/Information
So far as possible, we tried to collect the information/data that were already available at the spot for our visit. We collected the information from stone inscriptions, metal inscriptions, religious banners and also, we asked about the origin of temple to the Pujari and local peoples

3. Findings of the visit
There are many different historical places in Nepal. Among them all we visited pathibhara temple of taplejung in Mechi zone. It is situated in the lap of Himalayas. After the long journey by bus we finally reached to our destination. After getting there we did rest that day in hotel and move towards temple the day after. After walking 2 and half hours we reached to the temple of pathibhara mata. There we did puja in temple and pujari putted tika to us. Then we visited around the temple, beside there were two big nets to collect and filter water. The cloud coming from down of the hill get collapsed in that net and water comes out from there. There were several tanks to collect water and there were two big tanks of 2000 liter each to collect water. While visiting temple we meet with one old person and asked some questions and we also asked about the origin of the temple and he said that it was the place to rear sheep and goat. One night one person was sleeping in his shed with his sheeps then suddenly one small girl along with old sage and said you don’t have your sheeps along with you in your shed and if you give me two sheeps of my choice then all your sheeps will come back in your shed then that man agreed to give two sheeps to her. Then when he waked up next morning and saw two sheeps were not there. From that time, they started to worship her by saying pathibhara Bhagwati. He also said that there is a pond of blood down the hill where the temple is now situated.

4. conclusion and suggestion
It was my best and memorable journey ever I had. It was very beautiful place. There was too cold and there was no facility of proper toilet. Dust and rappers of biscuits, chocolates and other items were thrown in ground. Waste was not managed properly. The road to go there is not managed well and it is sleepery. Government should give more attention in development of such historical and religious place. If there was proper facility of everything then it may be good source of income by tourism development.

Opposite poem

Opposite poem
Brown tree green leaves
More rivers less seas.
Open window close the door
Bring sofa throw  the chair.
Hard acid soft base
Rabbit and tortoise on the race
Good boy bad behavior
Don’t show bad character
Its summer throw jumper
Drive vehicles slow in bumper.
Tortoise is slow rabbit is fast
Math and science are the vast.
In whole Nepal I like to travel
But the roads are just graveled.
Come here go there
Don’t show bad behavior.

cool vacation ever

My cool vacation

My family and I went to pathivara temple of taplejung. It was intresting. First, I took a long bus ride with my parents up to kabeli. From there we walked for half an hour to pokhari. There we took rest at my grandfather’s house. After two days we started our journey to pathibhara temple at 5o’clock morning. We walked through the jungle way because it was shortcut. After 10 hour we reached tallo phedi. There we took a cup of tea and again moved forward. After 1 hour 30 minute we reached mathlo phedi and did rest there that night. Another morning we woke up at 3o’clock, bathed and moved forward toward the temple. We reached there at 6o’clock, worshipped and came back home.

Second Access camp

Second Memorable journey

Hello my name is Lokesh Prasai. I am student of Shree Mohanmaya Sec School and also of Access Jhapa. Now I am going to describe about my second unforgettable journey. As we all know that our first Access camp was missed because of bus accident at churiya mai of Makwanpur district, Hetauda. I think that our Access team is the luckiest among other Access team of Nepal to get second chance for Access camp in Ilam. On the special occasion of Access program that is Anniversary of Access our NELTA chair and Access focal person Dharmendra Bhattarai sir told us that we are going camp again. But he didn’t told us the place where we were going and when. We were so curious to know which place we were going. Finally before 7 bays for camp our Access teachers told us that our camp was fixed in the green city of Nepal that is Ilam. At first we were not happy because they gave us the dream of pokhara but taking to Ilam. But also we prepared our best for camp. Two day before camp our access teacher arranged small meeting with our parents and school teacher. On that day our teachers said we all were divided into four group and our group name and group members. I was in Tika Subedi sir’s group. Finally the day came for camp. According to group we sat in a taxi with our group teacher and moved forward. Some of us were new to Ilam and some of us were known but the curiosity was same. In taxi we all friend enjoyed a lot. We were singing, playing antkcheri, eating noodles, eating kurkure etc. soon we reached to our destination.                            Ilam was really awesome, cold and cool place for the camp. Four teachers, 40 students along with Dharmendra Bhattarai (chairperson of NELTA as well as focal person of access) went to Ilam for access camp. Since, it was my first camp I was really excited and curious to know about camp and to gain knowledge there. After we reached the hotel, we all were little tired but more excited to go inside the hotel and check our rooms. The hotel staff provided our room keys and our room partner too. We took rest for a while and have some tea with biscuits. All were full now ready for camp activities. After this we all got setup in a hall and listen to a camp things to do and things not to do, all the rules, time schedule, about our classes. We also played some games and watched some video. She also provided us a notebook and a pen. After the session we went to have dinner. It was really delicious and fresh. After this we were informed to sleep well and wake up early in the morning and we all departed to our room. There were two beds and they were comfortable and the rooms were warm too. This was all about first day in ilam. On next day morning we woke up around 5:am.it was a cool morning. We went for our refreshment work I was thinking to take bath but the water was too cold freezing so we only washed face brushed teeth. As per our schedules now it was the time for yoga section. We learned three basics step of yoga we learn the importance of yoga and its role in our life. it was interesting to learn such a good thing which could make our life comfortable till our last age. After the yoga section it was time to take some high tea and breakfast. Next to this, opening ceremony of program was done.  There we presented our group cheer. Our cheer was like this:
 We are sunflowers

We rise in the east

We love yellow beauty

We will win fix

After opening ceremony there was a session of time management with Biswa sir. We learned how important the time was and how to manage work to manage time. Similarly he taught that urgent work should be done first. Moreover he taught us to set long and short term goals and destination of our life. The next session was with Hemanta sir about child right. Hemanta sir gave much important knowledge about child right. Similarly he gave knowledge about human right too. He gave much important knowledge about duties.  The third session was done with Guna raj sir about cultural awareness. He gave knowledge about Nepali and American culture the similarities and difference between them. Moreover he aware us about the culture and inform us to protect good culture and prevalent bad culture from society.  There was also a program of dance. The dance from universal dance center performed dance along this access students also showed their dance. They taught us dance too. This day was more special for Jenny maam since it was her birthday. We celebrated her birthday after lunch. After celebrating Jenny maam’s birthday we went to our room and had rest.

In third day we went for field trip. A field  trip to Ilam garden and view tower. IT was awesome and the most interesting journey. We saw the beautiful seneary of Ilam’s tea garden and watched the whole Illam through view tower.

We went to American corner and took a session of reduce reuse and recycle from Santa mam. It was most important lesson. She taught not to throw trash instead of that reduce, reuse and recycle. It helps to make our environment clean as well as make as make us healthy. After session we came back to the same hotel and had breakfast. We took the story writing session with Biswaraj sir. He taught to make the story more interesting and taught us the concept of writing story. After this we had station session with our four access instructor. We learned black out poetry with Jenny maam, back to the board with Keshav sir, Hot chair with rita maam and playing cards with tika sir. I enjoyed a lot in this game though I won only 3 times.  We also took session of content writing with Hemanta sir.  He taught us to write slogans and taught us to write essays. It was the second last day of camp. we showed drama and won the second price.

It was competition between group A and B. Last day, we all were feeling little sad this morning because it was our last day. As regular we had our breakfast and after breakfast our guest from Nelta centre were going back and after some time we were also going but before that we visited to mai mandir, nishan of army, roamed in ilam bazaar an took some group photos at last.

We bought some special of ilam for our family and friends. We went back to hotel and had meal. Now it was the time to bring our belongings back from room and come down to hotel. We had our last group photo at end and soon our taxies arrived and we departed from ilam to jhapa. we all reached our home safely.
After all, it was a life time memory to be with Nelta members and friends. The management of hotel and other activities were done so perfectly we could not find any issue to talk about. We all were very happy during camp period. We all learned many new things from camp. All those dance with Nelta members, those classes and intersection with them will always remain in our mind as the best memory.

Technology

Importance of “technology”
Those equipment, materials or devices that have been made for the developmental work and to make our work easier and faster are known as technology. We cannot imagine our comfortable style of living without the presence of technology. Technology has became a part of our life, isn’t it?
For the developing country like Nepal, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Maldives, etc technology is very important. Development of the country depends upon the technology they have . As we know that our Ancestors and forefather lived very difficult and miserable lifestyle because the absence of technology on their period . As we see now world has been almost fully developed because of technology .The development of technology has  changed the lifestyle of every people. Although of some part of Nepal are living a miserable lifestyle  the peoples because there is no presence of technology on their area. The main reason of modernization is the presence of technology. As we compare our present world and the stone age, Agricultural age our world is better, this is all because of Technology.
Because of the presence of technology Nepal is developing frequently. Many road are made, buildings, bridge, apartments, etc have been made because of presence of technology. Technology not only have use for developmental works but also it have use in educational field, health sector, banking sector, invention, science labs etc.
Nowadays technologies are being used in school and institutions for teaching and learning purpose. In  many schools teachers teaches student using projecrots, smart board, eyeris, etc. for the development of education many and different kind of technologies are made and tested also. Internet is also a part of  technology. Internet is mostly used by students for educational purpose. There are many different educational sites through which students can get new things.
In communication sector also internet is equally important. Technology has played a great role in communication sector to make this whole world a global village. We can talk to the person of another country by sitting at a cozy sofa at our home. There are different kind of selphones, smart phones, social media through which we can contact to other people.
In health sector technology has played a great role to save lives of people. Different kind of machines are made to identify the types of diseases. X-ray is made to know the internal fracture in the body, MRI is to know the disease that the patient is suffering from, Ct-scan finds the internal disorders and fractures of the body. If there was not presence of technology different types of dangerous diseases cannot be identified and cured.
So without technology we cannot live a comfortable style of life. If the same technology is not used in proper way then it is only the dangerous diseases that cannot be cured and it may take our life also. So technology should be used in proper way.

Butterfly

Amazing insect

Do you know some insects are amazing. Butterfly is one of the amazing insect because it is only insect that taste by their feet. Butterflies are the beautiful insects in the nature. The wings of butterflies are flat, big and beautiful. Wings of butterflies are bigger than their body. There is a dust like powder in its wings. If the powder of  butterflie’s wings enter into our eyes our eyes may be damage. The powder of butterfly wings is very poisonous.
Butterflies are mostly found near river side and flower garden during summer season. Nowadays this type of amazing insects are being disappearing  in nature so we should conserve them. There is inter relationship between human beings and insects. If there were no insects then there will be more grasses, there will be no place remain for farming and modernizing the world.

University Visit

A visit to Kankai campus

Hello, my name is Lokesh Prasai. I am from Birtamode 1 Ramchowk jhapa. I am student of Shree Mohanmaya Sec School and Access Jhapa. I am going to write about the visit to Kankai multiple campus. On 24th December I woke at 6:00 o’clock am and brushed my teeth, washed face, ate breakfast, wore my school dress and moved to Ramchowk by doing jogging. At chowk Chiranjibi was waiting for me and we went infront of our school at same time Krishna arrived there we saw amala tree and wanted to eat amala so I climbed up and pluck amala then our bus arrived. As we entered inside bus we thought about Sanjay because he was not there. Then Chiranjibi called Sanjay and he said he will come in another bus because he was already late. Then we went inside bus and moved forward to Kankai campus. After 15 minute we reached there at Kankai campus. At first I saw a big gate where there was written (कन्काई बहुमुखी क्यामपस) in Nepali and Kankai Multiple Campus in English. Then we entered inside the campus in two lines ‘1 of boys and 1 of girls’. The campus was fully surrounded by the big trees of a public forest. The campus is in the south east part of public’s forest in Surunga. There I saw a statue of silver jubilee where there was written Rajat Mahotsav 2072 B.S. Rajat Mahotsav is celebrated in the 25th anniversary of establishment of any organization or any institution. There were many students playing on the ground. Some were playing badminton, volleyball, cricket, table tennis etc. because the annual function and sports was going on. There were two buildings of three stories. At one building there were classes and in another building there were Administration department block, Library, computer lab and conference hall. At first we entered into administrative department and there was carpet on the floor, so we took off our shoes and moved forward. We observed there and it was well furnished, department management was so good that there were different cabin for different subjects. At first floor there was facility of atage toilet too. Then we moved up to library. There also we opened our shoes and we entered inside library there were many books in the library and there were different book racks for different subjects. That library was runned by ‘Momnas software’. Student should have identity card which contain bar code to take book home and read. There was also a computer lab containing 16 computers. On that block, “Hari P.D Timsina” head of english department of kankai campus gave us speech and motivate us. Then we went up to conference hall, there we took group photo and came down to ground. There I saw statue of pen nip. Then we ate snack on canteen of that campus then we had group photo. Then we came back home. It was really nice public campus.

Time Management

TIME MANAGEMENT (Bishwa Raj Gautam)

In our access camp there were many section and classes all of those were very much interesting, knowledge full and full of joy. Among all, my favourite was time management class. It was taken by Bishwa sir. Time is the most valuable thing in our life. we should manage our time to get the things done in time, and to achieve our goals, manage life style. It is like a flight once you missed it will never come back. We learned many things among them some tips to manage our time are like sleep well, set a fixed destination, manage task, make timeline, make daily schedule etc. We should never underestimate time. We should try to eliminate unnecessary task. We should have time-habit, give importance to our task rather than playing and roaming in street with friends. As sir Bishwa Raj Gautam gave a good example of Uttam Bishwokarma (a diarrhea boy) we should always give first priority to very emergency work. we should not leave our work incomplete by saying that I will do it later or tomorrow. We should do it today and the work we kept for later we should do it now for proper time management If you are not able to do that then we are always back then others we will be left behind. For time management keeping goals is as important as having water in our life. Especially there are three types of goals short term, long term and midterm.
Short term goals are like planning for the day after, week or month. We should set short term goals to archive our long term and midterm goals.mid term goals are the yearly goals or sometimes longer then that also. If I am in class nine and I said I will go for computer class after see then it is midterm goals. Long term goals are our main destination. It deals with our future and our lifestyle. Short and midterm goals are done for long term goals.
All three goals are equally important. In absence of one nothing could be done. As a student we have many things to do but if we make a habit of doing yoga every morning regularly and manage the time then it will be good for health at old age also. So friends managing time is the most important task to do in life rather then gaining money? Manage your time properly and be successful person in life.

Dashain celebration

Dashain
Dashain is one of the greatest Festival of Hinduism and Nepalese people in Nepal and other places where Nepalese people live. Dashain mainly falls in the month of Ashwin and Kartik (October) of every year. This year I celebrated this festival with my family, friends and relatives. It was very enjoyfull.
We started preparation for celebration before a week of the festival begins. We went shopping in Birtamode and bought wearing clothes, connected internet, two Khukuri, statue and photos of Goddess Durga, Laxmi, Swarshoti, Kumar and Ganesh, we also brought items used in puza.
My parents managed food items for the festival. Meat, Beaten rice, banana, fruits, cold drinks etc are the major food for the festival.
This year our villagers organized a huge durga pooja in a chowk and I helped in preparation and decoration of main temple up to night 2:00 o’clock. We planed disco light, a big statue of goddess durga and small, statues of goddess Laxmi, Swarsati, god Kumar Kartike and Ganesh.
On the first day of this festival called Ghtasthpana (Jamare aunsi) our family shoed jamara (sprout of barley and maize) in special prepared plate of leaf (tapari). This tradition is being followed from satya yuga and we are also following this tradition in kali yuga.
On the third day of Ghtasthpana at morning 5:00 o’clock one Siwakoti uncle came to call me to prepare a swing. Then we 7 people went to bring bamboo 2 people to bring rope called ‘latharos’ and we started to make swing after 3 hour the preparation of swing was completed. After that we did pooja of swing and started to play.
Every day of Durga pooja bhajan kirtan, drama performance, religious Quiz, dancing and others activities were held. I was also the member of Durga pooja samiti so I had to help in every kind of work at pooja. I also played a role of Balaram and Maisashur in drama at durga pooja. At last day of Durga pooja we prepared parsadi. To keep safe the statues we have to sleep in the pooja place. At Dashami the 10th day of Dashain (Bijaya Dashami). We went to Kankai mai river to end up the pooja, we took holy bath there, put Tika and ate parsadi. After that we came back home. We took Tika from our parents at appropriate time of Tika after that we went to our relatives houses to put Tika and jamara and to get blessing after 3 days only we have completed putting Tika.
This time Dashain was more intresting, joyful, and better than last year Dashain. I enjoyed this time Dashain more joyfully. I wish Dashain will come every month.
